Full Definition

خَاسِفٌ , and its fem., with ة: see خَسِيفٌ, in two places.
2 Also Lean, or emaciated.
3 A body altered, or altered for the worse. A man altered, or altered for the worse, in colour, or complexion, and in aspect.
4 Hungry.
5 A boy light, or active, and brisk, lively, or sprightly; as also خَاشِفٌ.
6 A man convalescent; or recovering from disease; syn. نَاقِهٌ: pl. خُسُفٌ.
