خِدَاجٌ Verbal.Noun of 1 in the first of the senses explained above; or a simple subst. therefrom; or a subst. from 4 in the first of the senses explained above. See also مِخْدَاجٌ.
2 And hence, Defect, or deficiency.
3 صَلَاةٌ خِدَاجٌ, in which the latter word is an Verbal.Noun used as an epithet, or for ذَاتُ خِدَاجٍ, Prayer incompletely performed; as also and : applied in a trad. to prayer in which the Fátihah is not recited. And حَجٌّ , in which [likewise] the latter word is for ذُو إِخْدَاجٍ, or is an Verbal.Noun used as an epithet, Pilgrimage incompletely performed.
