2 Also A thing that is unperceived or imperceptible [&c. (see خَفًا)] by one; unapparent, or not apparent. [latent, or obscure,,] to one; or hidden, or concealed, from one. A secret: so, accord. to some, in the phrase بَرِحَ الخَفَآءُ mentioned above: see 1, in the former half of the paragraph. And [in the same phrase, accord. to some,] Low, or depressed, ground.
