Full Definition

خَوْتَلَى A stealthy walk or gait: or a walking on one side. Hence the saying, هُوَ يَخْلِجُنِى بِعَيْنِهِ وَ يَمْشِى لِى الخَوْتَلَى [He makes a sign to me with his eye, and walks to me stealthily, or sideways].
