دُرْبَةٌ Custom, or habit; or habituation; and boldness to engage in, or undertake, war, and any affair: and , with teshdeed, on the authority of IAar, but written in the K , signifies the same. One says, مَا زِلْتُ أَعْفُو عَنْ فُلَانٍ حَتَّى ٱتَّخَذَهَا دُرْبَةً [I ceased not to forgive such a one until he took it as a habit].
