Full Definition

ذِمْرٌ and ذَمِرٌ and ذِمِرٌّ and ذَمِيرٌ A courageous man: or who combines sagacity, or sagacity and cunning and craftiness, with courage, or with strength; and has also this last signification: or the four preceding words signify, or signify also, clever, intelligent, and a good assistant: pl. of the first and second and fourth, أَذْمَارٌ; and pl. of the third, ذِمِرُّونَ.
