ذَمَلَI , or ذَمَلَتْ, Present.T ـُ and ـِ Verbal.Noun ذَمِيلٌ and ذَمْلٌ and ذُمُولٌ and ذَمَلَانٌ, said of a camel, He, or she, went a gentle pace: or went a pace above that which is termed العَنَقُ, and above that which is termed التَّزَيُّدُ: [for] A'Obeyd says, when the pace rises a little above that which is termed العَنَقُ, it is termed التَّزَيُّدُ; and when it rises above this, it is termed الذَّمِيلُ; and then, الرَّسِيمُ: As says that no camel goes the pace termed الذَّمِيل for a day and a night except the مَهْرِى.
