رَبِحَI Present.T ـَ Verbal.Noun رِبْحٌ and رَبَحٌ and رَبَاحٌ, He gained; or made gain, or profit; in his traffic; i. q. اِسْتَشَفَّ or أَفْضَلَ. The Arabs say to a man when he enters upon traffic, بِالرَّبَاحِ وَالسَّمَاحِ [With gaining and liberality.]
2 And رَبِحَتْ تِجَارَتُهُ His traffic brought him gain, or profit.
