Full Definition

رَحُومٌ and رَحْمَآءُ , applied to a she-camel, and to a ewe or she-goat, and to a woman, [and app. to any animal having a womb, (see رَحُمَتْ)] Having a complaint of her womb after bringing forth, and dying in consequence thereof; and , applied to a she-camel, signifies the same: the pl. of رَحُومٌ is رُحُمٌ, with two dammehs.
