2 And The remainder of a debt and the like.
def.2 Also, or رَوِيَّةٌ فِى أَمْرٍ, thus usually pronounced without ء, [originally رَوِيْئَةٌ,] Inspection, examination, consideration, or thought, of an affair; without haste: pl. رَوَايَا. You say, مَضَى عَلَى وَجْهِهِ بِغَيْرِ رَوِيَّةٍ [He went at random, heedlessly, or in a headlong manner, without consideration]. (A in art. ركب.) See رَاوِيَةٌ, near the end. [See also رَوِيْئَةٌ in art. روأ.)
