a subst. from رَآءَ mentioned above: [i. e., it signifies Sight; &c.; like رُؤْيَةٌ:] and رَآءٌ is said by MF to be like it; but this is a mistake, occasioned by his finding الرَّآء, in a verse, miswritten for الدَّآء.
