زُرْدَةٌ [The quantity that is swallowed at once; like جُرْعَةٌ and بُلْعَةٌ;] a morsel, or small mouthful: so in the saying, ظَنَّ فُلَانٌ أَنِّى زُرْدَةٌ لَهُ [Such a one thought that I was a morsel for him].
