def.4 Also The coats, or coverings, and earth, that are upon truffles; and سَرِيرٌ signifies the same, or the sand and earth and coats or coverings upon truffles: here, and in some copies of the Tekmileh, for كَمْأَة, is put أَكَمَة: or both signify the earth that is upon truffles: or the former signifies the round clod of earth in which a truffle grows: pl. of the former, and of ↓ the latter, أَسْرَارٌ.
