سَفُوفٌ Medicine, and meal of parched barley or wheat, and the like of either of these, or anything dry, taken [into the mouth], or eaten, not moistened, or not kneaded [with water &c.]; and سُفَّةٌ signifies the same; each a subst. from سَفِفْتُ السَّوِيقَ and الدَّوَآءَ &c.
