شُبَّاكَةٌ

Full Definition

شُبَّاكَةٌ , or شُبَّاكٌ , A thing formed of grating, or lattice-work, ( , S, O, or مُشَبَّكٌ, KL, TA,) or iron, and of other material [i. e. of wood &c.]: and [particularly] a window so formed: pl. شَبَابِيكُ. One says, يَنْظُرُ مِنَ رَأَيْتُهُ [I saw him looking from the grated, or latticed, window].
