شَرِيبَةٌ is expl. in the S as meaning A sheep, or goat, which one drives back, or brings back, from the water, when the sheep, or goats, are satisfied with drinking, and which they follow: but in some of the copies in a marginal note stating that the correct word is سَرِيبَةٌ, with the unpointed س.
