شَمَارٌ i. q. رَازِيَانَجٌ, in the dial. of Egypt, also [and more commonly] called شَمَرٌ [applied to the Anethum graveolens, or common garden-dill, and to its seed; and also to the anethum fœniculum, or fennel: see also سَنُّوتٌ].
