صِوَارٌ

Full Definition

صِوَارٌ A herd of [wild] bulls or cows; as also صُوَارٌ and صِيَارٌ [the latter in the CK written صِيّار] and صُوَّارٌ [in some copies of the K erroneously written صُوَار, which, as observed in the TA, is a repetition]: pl. of the first and second and third صِيرَانٌ.

def.2 Also A sweet odour; and so صُوَارٌ .
2 And A vesicle (وِعَآء) of musk; as also صُوَارٌ , and صِيَارٌ , and صَارَةٌ [also] signifies [the same, i. e.] a فَارَة or فَأْرَة of musk: or صِوَارٌ and صُوَارٌ signify a small quantity of musk: or a piece, or portion, thereof: and صِوَارٌ signifies also musk [itself]: pl. أَصْوِرَةٌ. [Said in the M to be Pers.]
