طاردIII , Verbal.Noun مُطَارَدَةٌ and طِرَادٌ, He charged upon, or assaulted, or attacked, his adversary, in war &c., the latter doing the same, and fought him, whether he drove him away or not. One says, هُمْ فُرْسَانُ الطِّرَادِ They are the horsemen who charge upon, assault, or attack, one another.
