طُرْطُورٌ A sort of قَلَنْسُوَة [q. v.], worn by Arabs of the desert, tall, or long, and narrow in the head, or top: [in the present day applied to a sort of high, conical, cap: and a cowl.]
2 And A slender and tall man.
3 And, accord. to IAar, Low, ignoble, mean, or sordid, (وَغْدٌ,) and weak: pl. طَرَاطِيرُ.
