طَفُلَI , Present.T ـُ Verbal.Noun طَفَالَةٌ and طُفُولَةٌ, It was, or became, soft, or tender; [as though resembling a طِفْل;] syn. رَخُصَ.

def.2 طَفَلَت said of a she-camel: see 2.
2 طَفَلَ, Verbal.Noun طُفُولٌ, said of a man, He entered upon the [time called] طَفَل, which has two contr. meanings; as also .
3 And طَفَلَتِ الشَّمْسُ The sun rose: so says Fr in his “ Nawádir. ”
4 And, accord. to Zj, The sun became red on the occasion of setting; and so : thus the former has two contr. meanings: and طفّلت الشَّمْس, or طفّلت لِلْغُرُوبِ, Verbal.Noun تَطْفِيلٌ, The sun inclined to setting: or approached the setting; as also طَفَلَت, Present.T ـُ Verbal.Noun طُفُولٌ.

def.3 طَفَلَتِ الحُمُرُ العُشْبَ The asses depastured the herbs so as to raise the dust upon them.
