Full Definition

عَكِيسٌ Milk poured upon broth, in whatever state it [the former] be. And Fresh milk with إِهَالَة [or melted fat, &c.,] poured upon it, after which it is drunk: or flour upon which it is poured, and which is then drunk.

def.2 Also A shoot of a grape-vine that is reversed (يُعْكَسُ) under the ground to [come forth at] another place.
2 لَيْلَةٌ عَكِيسَةٌ A dark night.
