عَلِيقَةٌ

عَلُوقٌ A camel, or two camels, sent by a man with a people, or party, in order that they may bring corn for him, thereon, he giving them money for that purpose: pl. عَلَائِقُ, which may be of the first and of the second; and of the first, عَلِيقَاتٌ. [See also جَنِيبَةٌ.]
