2 Also, or فَسَأَهُ بِالعَصَا, Present.T ـَ Verbal.Noun فَسْءٌ, He struck, or beat, him, or his back, with the staff, or stick; as also تفسّأهُ , or تفسّأهُ بالعصا.
3 And فَسَأَ فُلَانًا عَنْهُ He restrained, withheld, or debarred, such a one from him.
def.2 فَسِئَ, Present.T ـَ [Verbal.Noun, app., فَسَأٌ, q. v. infrà,] He was, or became, such as is termed أَفْسَأُ [q. v.].
