and Verbal.Noun, accord. to Golius, فَصٌّ,] He separated it from (مِنْ) another thing; as also
: and he pulled it out, or up, or off; or removed it; or displaced it; from another thing; as also ↓ the latter.

def.3 فَصَّ الجُرْحُ, Present.Tفَصِصَ
Verbal.Noun فَصِيصٌ, like فَزَّ; The wound became moist, and flowed: or flowed: or flowed with somewhat, not much. And فَصَّ العَرَقُ
The sweat exuded; and so فِزَّ.
2 فَصَّ said of the [locust, or cricket, called] جُنْدَب, Verbal.Noun فَصِيصٌ and فَصٌّ, It uttered a sound. And, said of a child, Verbal.Noun فَصِيصٌ, He uttered a weak weeping, like whistling.
3 And فَصِيصٌ signifies also The being in a state of commotion; and twisting, or winding.
