قَادِحَةٌ [A canker-worm;] the worm that cankers, or corrodes, trees and teeth: [coll. gen. n. قَادِحٌ ; occurring in the K in art. خرب, &c.:] pl. قَوَادِحُ. One says, قَدْ أَسْرَعَتْ فِى أَسْنَانِهِ القَوَادِحِ [The canker-worms have quickly come into his teeth].
