قُوْلَنْجٌ , with fet-h to the ل, and sometimes قَوْلِنْجٌ, with kesr to the ل, or thus and قُولِنْجٌ, i. e. with kesr to the ل and with fet-h and damm to the ق, a foreign word, [from the Greek κωλικὸσ The colic;] a certain painful intestinal disease, in which the egress of the feces and wind is attended with difficulty; a violent griping in the intestine called the colon.
