Full Definition

كُدَادَةٌ The cooked food which remains in the bottom of the cooking-pot, and which is drawn out (كُدَّ) with the fingers: what remains in the bottom of the cooking-pot, sticking to it, after the ladling out; as also كَدَدَةٌ and كُدَدَةٌ: or the broth, or gravy, remaining in the bottom of the cooking-pot.
2 Also I. q. قِشْدَةٌ, [i. e.] the dregs, or sediment, of clarified butter.
3 A little that remains of pasture, or herbage. See also أَكِدَّةٌ.
