لَاخٌّ , and لَاحٌّ, or this is incorrect, A valley having intricate defiles, or narrow passes: or, abounding with trees, and intricate; as also : or, intricate by reason of its trees: or it is لاخ, without teshdeed, [i. e. لَاخٌ, or, as its derivation presently mentioned implies, لَاخٍ,] from أَلْخَى, distorted [but in the former written الخآء] in the mouth.
2 جَوْفٌ لاخٌّ A deep valley.
