لَآءَI , Present.T يَلُوْءُ, Verbal.Noun لَوْءَةٌ, app., He was foul, ugly, or deformed, in countenance.] لَوْءَةٌ, accord. to the K, is the same as سَوْءَةٌ; but this is probably a mistake for شَوْءَةٌ, The being foul, ugly, or deformed, in countenance; [which is the signification of لَوَّةٌ]. [See art. لوى.]
2 هٰذَا وَاللّٰهِ الشَّوْءَةُ وَاللَّوْءَةُ, and اللَّوَّةُ, [app., This, by Allah, is foulness and ugliness!]
