def.2 Also, and مَأْبِرٌ , and أَبُورٌ , That. [namely] what is called جُشر, or جُشّ, [in the L and TA it is said to be “ like الحش, ” thus written with the unpointed ح, and without any syll. signs, perhaps a mistranscription for حُشْر, and doubtless meaning the anthers, or the pollen,] with which palm-trees are fecundated.
