Full Definition

مِئْرٌّ A man much addicted to venery: so accord. to A'Obeyd, as related by Sh and El-Iyádee, but thought by Az to be مَئِيرٌ, of the same measure as مَعِيرٌ, i. e., مَفْعِلٌ, [originally مَأْيِرٌ,] from آرَهَا.
