Full Definition

مُجَوَّرٌ [as meaning Thrown down, or overturned,] occurs in the following prov.: يَوْمٌ بِيَوْمِ الحَفَضِ المُجَوَّرِ [A day for a day of the household-goods thrown down, or overturned]: applied in the case of rejoicing at a calamity befalling another: a man had an aged paternal uncle, and used continually to go into the latter's tent, or house, and throw down his household-goods, one upon another; and when he himself grew old, sons of a brother of his did to him as he had done to his paternal uncle; wherefore he said thus, meaning, this is for what I did to my paternal uncle.
