مَخْتُومٌ Sealed, or stamped, &c.
2 Also The [measure commonly called] صَاع: or the sixth part of the [measure called] قَفِيز. (Mgh in art. كر. [It is there added that the قفيز is the tenth part of the جَرِيب: but it seems that this is the قفيز which is a measure of land; not what is here meant in the explanation of مختوم, which is a measure of corn and the like.]) [Pl. مَخَاتِيمُ.]
