Full Definition

مَخْدُوعٌ and مُخَدَّعٌ are syn. [as signifying Deceived, deluded, beguiled, circumvented, outwitted, or the like: or rather, the latter signifies much deceived, &c.].
2 And [hence] ↓ the latter, A man Deceived, deluded, beguiled, circumvented, or outwitted, in war, time after time, so that he has become experienced, or so that he has become skilful: or experienced in affairs: or experienced in affairs, sound in judgment, cunning and guileful: or characterized by deceit, delusion, guile, or circumvention, in war.

def.2 Also the former, One whose [vein called the] أَخْدَعُ is cut, or severed.
