Full Definition

مُدَلَّهٌ Bereft of his heart, or mind, or reason, in consequence of anxiety [&c.]: or heedless in heart, bereft of reason, in consequence of excessive love of a woman, and the like: or one who will not keep, or retain, in his mind, or memory, (لَا يَحْفَظُ,) what he does or what is done to him: and one going to and fro in confusion, or perplexity, not knowing his right course.
