2 And] Made [or preserved] with رُبّ [or inspissated juice, &c. ]: you say زَنْجَبِيلٌ مُرَبًّى [Ginger so preserved]; as also مُرَبَّبٌ: and مُرَبَّيَاتٌ signifies Preserves, or confections, made with رُبّ; like مُرَبَّبَاتٌ. (S in art. رب.)
