مَرْتَكٌ i. q. مُرْدَاسَنْجٌ [from the Pers. مُردَاسَنْگ, both of which signify Litharge in the present day, as in the classical dialect]: it is of two kinds; namely, ذَهَبِىٌّ [i. e. red, or of gold], and فِضِّىٌّ [i. e. white, or of silver].
