مُرْصِدٌ

Full Definition

مُرْصِدٌ [i. q. رَاصِدٌ]. One says, أَنَا لَكَ مُرْصِدٌ بِإِحْسَانِكَ حَتَّى أُكَافِئَكَ بِهِ [I am watching, or waiting, for thee, on account of they beneficence, that I may requite thee for it].
2 أَرْضٌ مُرْصِدَةٌ Land in which is a small quantity (رَصَدٌ, M) of herbage: or land which has been rained upon, and which it is hoped will produce herbage: and land upon which has fallen a rain such as is termed رَصْدَة; and so : or, accord. to some, one should not say مَرْصُودَةٌ nor مُرْصدَةٌ; but أَصَابَهَا رَصْدٌ and رَصَدٌ.
