مُزَلَّجٌ

Full Definition

مُزَلَّجٌ Small in quantity or number: a mean, paltry, small, or little, gift: one hat is imperfect, or incomplete: and anything that is not done superlatively, excellently, consummately, thoroughly, or soundly: anything low, base, vile, mean, paltry, inconsiderable, or contemptible. (K. [See also مُزَلَّخٌ.])
2 Love (حُبّ [in the CK, erroneously, حَبّ]) that is not pure, or not genuine.
3 Having little taste.
4 Small in body.
5 And hence, A man deficient, or defective, in manliness, or manly virtue or moral goodness, and weak: or defective in make: and deficient in prudence, or discretion, and precaution, or sound judgment, or firmness of mind or of judgment: and niggardly.
6 One who is consociated with a people, not being of them: or, as some say, i. q. دَعِىٌّ [i. e. one whose origin, or lineage, is suspected; or an adopted son; &c.].
7 Also Life striven to be retained (مُدَافَعٌ) with a bare sufficiency of the means of subsistence.
