مَسْحٌ i. q. بَلَاسٌ; i.e., A garment of thick, or coarse, hair-cloth: so in the T: and a piece of such stuff as is spread in a house or tent: a بلاس such as is worn by monks: a كِسَآء of hair-cloth: an old and worn-out garment: pl. أَمْسَاحٌ and مُسُوحٌ; the former a pl. of pauc., and the latter a pl. of mult.
2 مِسْحٌ The main part, and middle, of a road; syn. جَادَّةٌ: pl. أَمْسَاحٌ and مُسُوحٌ.
