2 [Also, or مَسْفِرٌ, A place of journeying or travelling: in which sense, likewise, its pl. is مَسَافِرُ.] One says, بَيْنِى وَبَيْنَهُ مَسَافِرُ بَعِيدَةٌ [Between me and him, or it, are farextending tracts to be travelled].
