مَسْهَجٌ [like مَسْهَكٌ] A place where the wind passes along [or blows violently]. AA cites, as an ex., the saying, إِذَا هَبَطْنَ مُسْتَحَارً مَسْهَجَا [When they descend into, or enter, a place of confusion, or perplexity, where one is unable to see his right course, a place where the wind blows, or blows violently].
