مَشَطَI , Present.T ـُ and ـِ Verbal.Noun مَشْطٌ, He combed the hair; loosed and separated it with the comb; or combed and dressed it; syn. رَجَّلَهُ, or سَرَّحَهُ: and مشّطهُ signifies he did so much. You say also مَشَطَتِ المَاشِطَةُ المَرْأَةَ, Present.T ـُ Verbal.Noun as above, [The ماشطة combed, or combed and dressed, the woman's hair.]
