مُشْعَلٌ

Full Definition

مُشْعَلٌ [pass. part. n. of 4, q. v.]. One says نَارٌ مُشْعَلَةٌ [A fire kindled, &c.; or] burning up, burning brightly or fiercely, blazing, or flaming. And جَآءَ فُلاَنٌ كَالحَرِيقِ المُشْعَلِ i. e. [Such a one came like the fire that is] kindled, &c. See also the next paragraph.
