Full Definition

مَغْدًى and مَغْدَاةٌ [A place to which people go, or to which they return, in the period of the morning called غُدْوَة; opposed to مَرَاحٌ and مَرَاحَةٌ].
2 [Hence] one says, مَا تَرَكَ فُلَانٌ مِنْ أَبِيهِ مَغْدًى وَلَا مَرَاحًا, and وَلَا مَرَاحَةً, expl. in art. روح. (S in art. روح, and K in the present art.)
