مُقْرِبٌ A woman, and a mare, and a ewe or goat, and an ass, near to bringing forth: [said to be] not used in relation to a camel; the epithet used in this case being مُدْنٍ: [but see the verb:] the pl. is مَقَارِيبُ; as though they had imagined the sing. to be مِقْرَابٌ.
