مُوجَحٌ

Full Definition

مُوجَحٌ A garment closely woven, and firm: or of close texture, and thick: or strong: or narrow and firm: as also وَجِيحٌ : from أَوْجَحَهُ البَوْلُ.
2 مُوجَحٌ A smooth skin.

def.2 مُوجَحٌ Constrained, compelled, or necessitated, to have recourse to, or to betake himself to, a thing or place, for protection or concealment or the like; syn. مُلْجَأٌ. (L, K, TA [in the CK مَلْجَأٌ, which is the signification of وَجَحٌ]) Az says, that the word which he retains in his memory is مُلْحَجٌ, with the ح before the ج; and that the two words may be two dial. forms.
