نِحْرِيرٌ and نِحْرٌ Soundly, or thoroughly, learned; or skilled or skilful, intelligent, experienced, or, as some say, sound in what he does, skilful and intelligent, knowing and skilful in everything: because he masters (يَنْحَرُ) knowledge or science: pl. of the former, نَحَارِيرُ.
