نَدَّI , Present.T نَدِدَ Verbal.Noun نَدٌّ and نِدَادٌ and نُدُودٌ and نَدِيدٌ; and ; He took fright, or shied, and fled, or ran away at random, or became refractory, and went away at random; or ran away, or broke loose, and went hither and thither by reason of his sprightliness. See also 6, below.
2 Also نَدَّ, contr., It assembled.
3 نَدَّ It deviated from the constant course of speech; like شَذَّ; as some say; as mentioned by El-Fárisee: but it is not of good authority, nor agreeable with the usage of Sb.
